x2. If the movies scare someone, they should try reading the books. Hollywood cant fit that amount of detail into a movie. Best attempt they made was the stand.

Scariest thing ive ever read from him is the scene in the shining with the dead lady in the tub. Freaks me out just thinking about it now. And ill be damned if im gonna go to a hotel and sleep in room 217 :anonymous:

I know it's lame but I really can't remember seeing anything that scared the crap out of me as a kid but. . .

The last movie that gave me nightmares was:

"House of 1000 Corpses" by Rob Zombie

    That movie fucked me up!

Pet Semetary and IT as a kid. Also I was pretty small when I saw Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. My older brother tried to tear my heart out....kinda sent me screaming.

As a teen, I saw Event Horizon, its a sci fi flick. I left the theatre as quickly as possible after that movie.

Holy hell...I haven't thought about that episode until now!

Raiders and Last Crusade always scared the bejeezus outta me. Never had an issue with Temple of Doom though...weird. Event Horizon was probably the last movie that I watched the completely wigged me the fuck out. I rewatched it again over a decade later (just this past summer) and while I still found it pretty disturbing it was nowhere near as haunting as the first time.

I know that I'll never again try watching Pandorum when I'm stoned...I couldn't even get through the opening credits! My wife gave me a hard time for that one..... :rasta:

x2 all the way, I can think of several that wouldn't even get a G rating today, namely the brave little toaster. I don't pay attention to kids movies anymore, but I seriously doubt they are as dark and twisted as they used to be. It's a shame they aren't either, movies like the brave little toaster prepared me for how twisted and screwed up the real world was going to be. It's far from being a Disney fairytale with a happily ever after ending like some movies lead kids to believe.

To go along with this, sweet dreams kiddies! Look still freaks me out, she was truly an evil devil woman in this movie. The 101 Dalmatians Patch's London Adventure sequel that came out in 2003 was nothing compared to the Cruella in the original. Same with the Badduns, they were just comic relief characters in the sequel.

I still won't watch it... I think it was more of the idea than just the scary scenes that scared the crap out of me. Like I said, I still won't watch it to this day...
