    Hey everyone,

Before I go pulling panels and poking around under the dash, I was wondering if anyone had done this mod? I can't say I did an 'exhaustive' search, but it certainly hasn't come up for me. I want to relo the bed outlet power switch to one of the blank spots in the center console switch row. Yes, no, maybe? Thanks gang!

Yes you can do it. Just need to make the wires longer.

Good to know. Thanks! I'm probably moving the Traction Control off switch to the center console switch row as well, so I'll knock them out at the same time. The 'reasoning' behind the switch locations on these trucks must be some ancient wisdom I'm not hip to. They read like an escape room puzzle sequence. But if I can get everything on that left panel to be light switches, both oem and the few lights I'm installing, I'm good. Light to moderate OCD appeased.

I removed those annoying stickers on the sun visor.
You'll either need to find an extension for the wiring harness, like what is available for the rear window button, or cut the wires, and splice in some extensions.

You can rearrange any switch you like with enough speed wire and self soldiering connectors. :cookiemonster:

Appreciate the help! I think with my limited number of lights (for now) I'm going with a dual tall switch and a single small to fill out the current openings in the panel and call it a day. This photo is excatly how this project played out in my mind

Good to know for future reference that with some longer wire runs I can do some relocating. Looks like ideally I'd want either a Meso or Cali panel in there anyway to maximize the space, especially that bizarrely laid out top section with two small off centered switches...o_O
