I've searched the forum and found many threads about people going from cars to trucks but nothing on people making the switch from a truck to a car. I'm currently driving a 2007 4Runner and before that has a 2004 XTerra. My 4Runner has served me well for many years and hopefully has many more years left in her but as I prepare to move to a more urban environment I've found sporty 4-door sedans beginning to catch my eye. Has anyone made the move and what have been your experiences in making the switch?

    Thanks!

    Pic for attention!

I know.. I started to miss things the truck could do, just like I miss things the cars can do. Haven't ever found anything that's great at both. Maybe a faptor but that's out of my current price point

Yeah, no way I'm parking one of those.

When the time comes to get a boat even the 4Runner won't cut it on towing

When I get rid of the 4Runner does that make me mod eligible?

Also how long have you had the STi?

My brother had a turbo legacy coupe!!! In my opinion it's nicer than a sti the interior in leaps ahead and it had more room!! He did Cobb stage 2 tuning down pipe and full straight pipe exhaust and a new single mass fly wheel and good clutch it put down 267 to all 4 on the dyno!!! Was a blast on dry rd and even more fun in about 2 inches of snow!!

I'll take Jeff's spot since he got another Tacoma.

And I'm looking at something I can't really mod. My foot is already heavy enough as it is

Yeah, the mod bug is really hard to avoid with these things.

The limited STi is pretty refined. Harmon Kardon system, leather, heated seats. It's plush

Don'y you put these ideas in my head!

Is yours a manual? (Do they even make an auto STi?)

I did a 6300 mile summer road trip in the STi and managed 27.1mpg. I'd go between 320-340 miles before filling up and putting 12-13 gallons in. It's got a 15.6gal tank
