Just popping in to say hi to everyone. I've spent the last 15 or so years in the aircooled VW world owning a few different buses, but always - always - have my 76 Westfalia Bus as my daily driver and my "year round get to the wilderness ASAP" vehicle. I loved being a part of that world, but keeping a 45 year old vehicle as your daily can be quite stress inducing so I'm putting that chapter behind me, selling my bus, and getting a Tacoma.

I'm about 2 weeks out on taking delivery of a 2022 TRD Sport (the current market is bonkers!). I'm not really into offroading or overlanding so the Sport will suit me just fine, just need something competent on the forest roads and a capable base of operations when camping, backing packing, hunting, etc.

    Cheers,

    Andrew

I'm an ACVW and Taco owner too! I have sold a couple of Bugs, so no more convertible and no more oval window. I still have my beach buggy! It's a Berry Mini-T, a buggy style I've wanted since I was a child and read "Dune Buggies" by Gary Gladstone. That will never be sold. :santa2:

The Tacoma is a great parts running truck for the most popular car of all time.
