    What carrier/shipper are you using?

We're moving to No. Idaho in 18 months & I'd like to have my 2001 shipped as well.

I'm using Expert Auto Ship out of Florida. I talked with Danny Kantrowitz and he was super friendly and helpful and I felt like he got me a solid price. It's $1800 to ship the single cab tacoma from North Alabama to Northwest Washington (2521 miles). Also to note, I'm shipping two other cars with him, so he cut me a better deal for being a package instead of an individual car.

    Edit to add, Danny's number is (561) 414 - 5778

We bought property up in the mountains overlooking Lake Pend Oreille in 2015. The well went in 2018 and the electrical lines were extended onto the property.

Spring 2024 the build starts for our retirement home.

I've lived in Illinois for 20 years and am ready for a change of scenery .

No matter what anyone says, you're gonna miss Alabama. Wait til you order sweet tea at a restaurant.

Lived in Seattle area entire life, we didn’t used to use salt, but have definitely started using it in the last 5 years or so.

I mainly see it in Seattle itself because it’s a nasty place to try to navigate with ice and snow due to all the hills and tight streets.

Port Townsend (nice choice by the way, one of the most beautiful spots in the state) is pretty flat and out on the south sound and really doesn’t have much traffic doesn’t get as much snow at sea level.

Mainly we get snow at about 1000 ft and above annually, some years more, some not much at all.

Best advice, just stay home if you live in the Seattle area. Not the snow you have to worry about, it’s the dipshits on the road

Welcome to WA! Congratulations on moving to one of the most beautiful parts of the U.S.

As others have said, you will not have an issue with salt out on the Olympic Peninsula. I’m a little south of you, in Bremerton/Silverdale.
