Despite some bias from this enthusiast forum (what a surprise)... it’s just a truck at the end of the day. If you don’t need it, and have debt, then sell it.

Agree! The battery will die for sure and so you might as well just remove that.

Sell it and keep making the payments to Yourself!! When you come back you will have a sweet down payment on a later model or new truck.

It is hard to find a used long bed that checks all the other boxes of what you want though. Not a big deal, but I’d take the longer bed over mine.

First and foremost. Thank you for your service. In my opinion sell it. Save all the payments that were going toward the debt and save them for the next 3 years while gone if you can plus any other cash that may come along while your gone. When you get back find a nice clean 3-5 year old taco and pay cash for it and your still debt free. Good luck.

It was a bit of sarcasm. You should sell but a LB is more difficult to find and most want that elusive skeewp.

Herein is the problem. He has the title and the truck is paid for. If he sells the truck, then he better use the money he gets for it to pay toward the consolidation loan he got to pay off his three previous loans. Even then his monthly payment amount will not change on the debt consolidation loan unless he re-applies for a better rate on it. We don't know how much his other two loans amounted to either. Or how many years the consolidation debt loan runs to. Only he does. So if he is still paying for this consolidation loan when he gets back to the USA and then has to find and finance another truck/car/whatever, then there is more debt.

If you can do that then sell it for sure. That is smart thinking on your part.

Maybe even 22 or 23K judging by the way it looks, the miles and how well it has been taken care of.

What is the interest on the loan?

Having the option to pay the loan off to keep the financial gains in the future is a deal warren buffet would kill for

Sell it and pay off your debts. I really like the clean slate idea.

Yep. 20k all day long on that truck. I would NOT take less than that for it.
