Nah, that was two weeks ago. I didn't like the MPGs, so I swapped engines with a Prius last week.

The difference is I am asking why something won't work and it took how many responses for an answer?
I do but I have to pay. Not home. not everyone has a mobile auto shop like you big boy

Correct, that's always Q1. If there is no objective, then there is no purpose in bench building.

Makes it hard to know what you've accomplished or when you are done doesn't it?

    255 85 16
    255 80 17

These are the sizes that fit, on stock 3rd gen suspension, using either OE wheels or replacements with OE specs. Couple huge threads on the topic. As others mention, going taller than that introduces a new set of performance issues.

^^^ This. All. Day. Long. (unless OP provides functional goals that require a suspension lift to accomplish)

See tire size called out above. You may be looking for the wrong thing.

Tacoma's don't have struts. Regardless of what catalogs, YouTube and some mechanics may say. When you are going to engineer something innovative, you need to A) have a goal B) have a budget C) have skills/tools D) know proper nomenclature E) all of the above.

Wishing you all the best as you climb the learning curve.

I know I struggled making the change from drag racing setups to SCCA setups. While the stock vehicle layout may be very similar, the goal of what is to be achieved varies wildly.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
This is known as a clear, educational and properly put together slam dunk. Cheers!
