Just be ready for the dry heat. Its not like most folks expect it to be. I am an AZ native too and as long as you can handle the heat its a good place to live. Good gun laws and any kind of outdoor fun you can think of. If you can, check it out before you commit to moving in the summer and get a taste of the heat.

I like the sound of the drinking buddies. I posted awhile back. Still planning on moving down that way. The kid and I are going to cruise that way late June and scope things out. Want to make sure it's a good fit for us. Just quit my job so now I'm committed, haha.

just moved from Sacramento to Oro Valley. Love it so far.

Still getting settled and haven't seen anyone yet or been to any meets. Hopefully soon.

Cost of living Compared to Cali is about 30% less..great gun laws, slow drivers, surface street driving is synonymous with the word "Tucson" however, it's cooler here than Phoenix.

Just the motivation I need! Thanks man! Maybe by the time I move we will have our tents...

I'll pick yours up and save you a few bucks on shipping.

I'm looking forward to the day I can say I have one. The thought of going on the ground tent camping doesn't sound fun at all. Hopefully I get word soon that I can go pick it up.

Yeah its amazing. I took it out for my first trip like 3 weeks ago. Only pain was not being able to unzip my tent in the morning and able to kick the dog out. Otherwise its awesome!

    Ahhh cool!

We'll have to get some beers. I started a question in the weekly meet thread to see if any of the Oro valley/Tucson crowd was interested in this Monday.
