Awesome thanks for the info. (I was hoping pleasant was going to be good cause looks like that'll be the closest to me)
I should be moving to AZ sometime in the spring. I have some loose ends to tie up here first then I'm goin to take a trip out there to look around and pick a location.... and then i'll be AZ bound:D. With all the research I'm doin, I'm getting very excited.

ask the guys over there ... economys bad they may be able to snag you a killer deal on a dh bike .... gnargnartours.com are true entrepreneurs .... i cant believe how much the "DH" scene in the phx has exploded due to them and im not even a local and have seen it

my jackass buddies from nor cal give me shit for going to phoenix to ride and then i remind em that the shuttle prices are reasonable and there is no additional charge for coming to their event .... unlike the oregon event which all the nor cal mtbr crew seem to flock to .... whats even funnier is the so cal people that come to our "western states summer kick off" in Downieville that never seem to make it to arizona either .... guess its a well kept secret ... i will NEVER get sick of riding south mountain park

ok, probably a pretty dumb question, but im gonna ask it anyway..... Moved here from Alaska, not too many cacti up there. how bad are the cactus thorns on tires here, where i am there are lots of prickly pear cactus, and other little prickers. i have 35" BFG's
