Colorado is awesome IMO!!!:headbang: I was born and raised in Southern Cali then moved to CO for about a year and a half. This was about 5 years ago so I'm sure not to much has changed except maybe the population getting bigger. I lived outside the Denver area in a city called Broomfield. I loved everything about CO, the weather, people, the nature, it was all really cool. Hope you do well there!!!;)

    ....Wow...

So here is a little rant...I know you guys and females more than I know the other forum members,so I will post it here.

Nothing seems to be going the way I want it in my life right now. Nothing. I still live at home here in FL, mainly because I was in college, and don't have a job. Even though I am looking for one. Money is always an issue, and not just necessarily with me, but for my father. He lost money when he switched his two part time jobs around. He lost quite a bit each month. The reason why he switched them around, was to persue a career in the one field...where he could basically quit the other job and be fine on money. Between losing the extra money, and having to worry about job security, it takes a toll on myself. I feel like I should have a job, but I can't find one. So I feel like a failure. I want to help, but I can't if I can't find a new job. So I constantly stress. I think I worry more about the bills and his job security than what I need or want.

I want to move to CO, and I intend to, but at the same time, it leaves me asking myself questions...is that the right thing to do? What if he needs financial assistance from me...and then I can't afford to because I live out of state. That makes me feel guilty. If I stay here in FL, I can help him out once I find a job, if I move to CO, I more than likely won't be able to. Am I doing the right thing? I don't know. I am on the fence about everything.

He is the only income in the house currently..and his "wife" doesn't contribute. Which is really sad, and when she does, it's very little. That's a completely different story however. Lot's of drama there, and that only makes living here a lot worse. I won't go to far into detail about that however.

I don't know...I'm so stressed...don't know what to do. Thanks for listening.

my wife and i just moved to CO (westminster). we've been here for 12 days and we love it. its much better than los angeles (people, traffic, businesses, weather (i like the cold), cost of living, etc...). it was a little scary to up and move so far away from family, friends, and an area that we were familiar with, but i think it will be worth it in the long run.

The New Belgium Brewery is in Fort Collins. Fort Collins > the people's republic of Boulder. However, Colorado as a whole has a great diverse craft brewing industry. If you like different beer, the selection is never ending and spending a day to tour around the different breweries and their free samples is fun (with a DD of course if you plan to really sample ALL the options :)

New Belgium = Ft Collins (D'oh, didn't see the post right above mine)

Like someone said earlier, if you don't mind being away from water, the Denver-Boulder front range is amazing.

    Musts:

Red Rocks concert. As far as I'm concerned it's the single greatest venue in the world.

Ski/Snowboard Vail, Wolf Creek and Telluride

    4-wheel

    Raft on the Colorado River

Hike/backpack in Rocky Mountain National Park
