Looking for reccomendations on a simple bluetooth MP3 player for more or less dedicated use in the truck. Touch-screen controls would be nice but aren't critical. Ability to load playlists created in Windows media player without having to make them on the unit itself would be great.

I picked up a cheap one for $40 off Amazon, but for some reason it turns the bluetooth off every time it shuts down, and the controls are so simplistic it's a PITA to get back up to the main settings and turn it back on. I definitely want something that's smarter than that and always powers up with the bluetooth on once it's activated.

Buy an old android phone with an SD card, load foobar2000 on it. Done.

Hadn't thought to do that (no idea why). I have at least 2 old galaxy phones lying around somewhere and I might be upgrading from my current one sometime soon.
