Yep, when I saw Seatbelt Mike was starting fresh with the 3G I figured it would have a bigger fuel tank. I figured since the 3G Tacoma was the same size as the 1G Tundra it would have a 26.5g fuel tank also.

I'm staying with 4.7l's as long as I can, even the tiny 4Runner has a 23g fuel tank.

    sorta this lol

I consider myself a fairly fast driver, usually in the 75-80 range, and i'm regularly getting passed by tacos and other trucks. I find the MPG difference in cruising at 70 to be significant compared to cruising at 80

The 3rd Gen shares the same Cab as the 2nd Gen and its basically the same frame too so there really was not any extra space for a larger tank.

If I take the trunk door off of my accord, does that make it a truck?

People that complain about MPGs are probably the ones that race to the next red light and slam on the brakes. I see it all the time here. You will never win in city driving, maybe a minute if you are lucky.

I try to coast as much as i can, without pissing people off behind me, read the road ahead and use the DFCO whenever i get a chance. Sometimes i would give her of course, i love how it feels at 4-6k rpm. I still get advertised mpgs with e rated ATs, so im happy.

Yes. Pics for evidence. Had a customer call his CRV a truck, so I'd say anything is game

Yet this fake truck has a much higher payload capacity compared to your Tacoma. I wonder why the Ridgeline is that much stronger than the Tacoma. Are unibodies made much tougher.

The Ridgeline has to be made with a high payload capacity due to the target audience...

I think most people have the 4x4 V6 auto ones that say 18 city 22 highway, and 20 mpg combined. If people are getting 16 or less, they arent stock or their driving deviates too much from the EPA test procedures.

I naively thought Seatbelt Mike had a complete redesign including a larger fuel tank. I had high hopes the 3G Taco would mirror the badass 1G Tundra.
