    Well here's a 17 double cab trd 4x4 with
Lt285/65/r18 nitto trail grapplers with 380 miles on the truck. It has been saying 14.8 while driving around town. Hoping it breaks in!!!!!!

    similar for me.

    Running 265 70 17 c rated goodyear duratrac.
    City I get like 15-17MPG (14.8-15.6L/100km)
Lately each weekend though on the trips up north to the cottage getting 11.4L/100km so roughly 20MPG.
That's generally easy on throttle some hills doing 80-100km/h on country roads.

City MPG is complete shit but its city where I'm averaging a speed of probably 30km/h. 18KM drive takes me about 45min on city streets of 50-60km speed limits. and its stop and go pretty much the whole way.
I never experienced the OEM tires as I put nokian hakkapelita R2s on it one day after getting the truck, then come spring duratracs went on. 1" taller tire.

Depending on the size you go to, you'll lose some MPG. I know a few on here went to a 285 70 17 and only lost about 1MPG

So here is my drive home today from start to finish, the eco page, and the MPG for the tank with less than a 1/4 of a tank.

Impressive. Here in the Seattle area, that isn't possible with the hills and traffic.

17 DCOR and I was getting 19-20 with stock tires. 265 tires dropped it to mid 17 to 18. When it's below freezing, I get 16.5 for some reason.

When completely stock I consistently got 20-23 highway in the flats when keeping it under 70 and 18-20 pretty much all the time in the city. After upgrading to 265/75BFG KO2's it dropped to 19-21 highway, 17-19 city. I drive pretty conservatively and most routes I take don't have any serious hills.

Can confirm. 5 mile local commute to work that's essentially 1 big hill I'm getting about 16mpg city on 285/70/17s. Our freeways are hilly too, generally I don't get more than 18-19 on the freeway. Best I got was like 21 mpg stock.

Looking at the pics you have ideal conditions it would seem. Reason people jumped on you is because most people don't have those type of driving conditions on here.

90F is first one. That's virtually no warm up the engine has to do. Second one is the Avg mph. Basically ideal for good fuel econ. Do you guys even get winter blend down there if it's that hot?

I'm around 10-20F, and my average speed is around 20-22 mph.
