    hey there,
so I just a 3 inch lift and large heavy Offroad tires
and I'm only calculating (truck calculations)
    around 11.5-12.4 MPG
I was wondering if there is anything I can do
because I feel like that is quite low.
im not sure if its a computer thing since the tires are bigger from the stock
or if I can do anything to help out a little,
Ive heard most people get around 15 with lift and tired ect.
    any help helps! thank you

    also any opinions on pedalMax?

What is the diameter of your new tires? Actually, what's the complete tire size?

keep in mind you also have that heavy front bumper coming into play against your fuel usage along with possible wind drag from the roof rack system and BTW that truck does look sweet!

yes but I just added the rack and it didn't effect anything, it was at 11.8-12 for a few weeks driving around before the rack
but I understand the bumper but damn! and thank man!

Dude you have over a 1,000 lbs on that sweet rig. Thats aalot of metal!! That's where your mileage is primarily lost. Aero from new parts ain't helping either!

Beautiful truck. I love the look. I got 33” trail grapplers and 4” lift plus cap. Still 15.5 mpg. Running tire pressure at 40 psi to decrease rolling resistance. I take her pretty easy too. If I’m on the gas at all it’s 13-14 mpg. Your number isn’t too surprising. Part of the fun of having such a sweet setup. Good luck.

Going to take a guess but your truck is automatic and probably doesn’t even shift to 6th gear, or if it does it’s because a tail wind is behind you or you’re going down hill.

Yea, any estimates on how much weight was added to the truck all together with wheels, tires, bumper, roof rack, sliders and a cap? Keep in mind these trucks are rated at 900-1150 lbs total payload capacity including passengers. If you are anywhere near that it means you're always driving around at design max for the truck weight, being lifted on top of that and 12 mpg isn't all that bad actually.

Highway or city? I get 19-21 highway but only 12-15 city and I'm mostly stock with the pro setup. I have a heavy foot though. Roommate is on 34s with a 6" lift and gets 19 highway. Lot of geometry and my old parts went into that truck. lol Hasn't put his bumper on yet tho.

Your mpg doesn't surprise me at all with your mods/wheels. At interstate speeds with any head or cross-wind at all, I'm at about 13-14mpg. I get about 18 city. Bone stock OR.

First I’d get a speedo calibrator, unless you like having your speedo, mileage and trip meters off (yes you can calculate by hand, but it’s just nicer to have it all read correctly). Did you do the front bumper before or after the lift (if before what was your mileage before lift and tires?)? What is the majority of your driving (stop and go means accelerating the mass of the wheel/tire, and the static weight of the truck with bumper, shell and rack).

I run 285/70-17, went with a relatively light weight wheel, with a lighter load C tire and am able to take my bed rack off for daily driving to keep life reasonable (19.2mpg avg on daily 60mile rt commute at 75mph).

Your truck does look sick! Sometimes you have to decide though between form and function. If you love the look learn to live with it, or re-gear and calibrate speedo. If re-gearing isn’t an option and you want the mileage back, consider a different bumper/rack combo, lighter wheel/tire combo.

Best of luck! My vote is for the re-gear.

Yeah if you don’t have a speedo calc it’s fighting itself.
