BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Install new spark plugs, stay off the throttle and air up your tires.

I think there are a ton of relevant discussions on this, tacomas arent great on mpg's and a 6 inch lift doesnt help with mileage

Take off your 6 inch Fapteck lift and get your stock tires back on it.

Go back to stock sized tires. It'll look great with that 6" lift and think of the MPGs :D

Result of your own driving habits. Ease up on the skinny pedal and you can also get 20 MPG.

I average around 15. Constant stop and go traffic, and all the hills around me kill it. I average 18 or 19 on highway, but still because its not flat. Hills kill my MPGs around here, but not too many people can say they drove up the steepest street in the U.S. :D

CAI will not help. Truck pretty much comes factory with a CAI. Loose the 6 inch lift and monster truck tires.

    ^This
^And that. Keep it under 65mph. Watch your acceleration from a dead stop, keep it under 2k rpm. CAI's are useless unless you're looking for louder sound but no other measureable gains

3 posts by you OP... how many miles are on your truck? I am at 12k miles now and my gas mileage is still improving. Should be getting low 15's for the first 4k miles, then over the next 6-10k miles your mileage will improve gradually. At least that has my experience with my 2013.

OP's truck is an '06. Should be broke in by now. Missing the fact of the 6 in lift with 315 tires.

Welcome to TW  Most folks show their truck year in their profile. His truck is an '06... think it's past the break-in.
