What are you guys with 33 inch tires getting on average for fuel mileage with the 4.0L automatic or manual? The width of the tire would be nice to know as well just to see how big of a difference that makes. I'm getting ready to lift my 2011 and put 33's on it wanting to see what to expect for MPG.

No help here, but I run bare stock and average 17 miles per gallon. V6 Double Cab. I imagine with your tires you may need to calculate in gallons per mile.

    Hello group,

    I have 285/70r17 BFG A/T's, 635 revs per mile, 59 lbs.

My truck came with 265/70r16 Dunlop H/T's, 681 revs per mile, 34 lbs.

Tire weight will definitely affect MPG's but only the overall diameter affects actual speedometer odometer/readings.

    681 divided by 635 = 1.07

If my speedometer 65 MPH I am actually driving at 69 MPH.

If my odometer reads 250 miles driven on my next fill-up I've actually driven 267 miles. I would then divide 267 miles by what ever amount of gallons of gas it took to fill up the tank to calculate actual MPG.

    Does that sound accurate?

sounds pretty solid, honestly I had a diesel on 35's and I just watched the mile markers and watched my odometer to see I was traveling .1 miles farther than the truck thought I was.

    Hahaha!

Good idea on the mile markers.
