Lisa , Just looked, 20°F / ECT 10°here this morning. But 40s over mid 30s for next week. Rain Sun-Tue...I think we're about to get full on messy break up. My backyard is gonna be a mud hole soon.

that would be my hope - i asked about switching to 4 10's a while back so i'm hoping that everyone likes this schedule and we get to keep it. or run two shifts and do a m-t and a w-s

things are greening up down here - at least in the valley it is. mountains are still buried. i think i remember more easters covered in snow than ones without so this is about typical.
next weekend is looking a lot better so hopefully this will be the last of the wintery crap for a while.

Yep, I imagine we'll see a few snows, but the kind that melt off before the end of the day...those tend to help loosen up the last of the hard packed stubborn bits of snow/ice.
You venturing out for a drive?
I'm making a landfill run this morning, cans are full. Kind of crazy when the things I look forward to are dump runs and going to work.o_O

I might - just a little cruise to get some sun on my face. Also planning on sewing a bunch of masks this weekend - ran to the hardware store last night to get the wire stuff for the nose piece and they had someone (or some company) donate a bunch of precut ones that they were giving out for free so that was awesome. Figure I'd drop a batch at the office for the guys there and in the field. But as long as the weather is nice I gotta take advantage of it, I can sew tomorrow while its snowing.

Ah...the things we look forward to these days. Last week I was going out to sweep the snow off the truck even though I wasn't going anywhere. Just wanted something to do. have fun on your dump run. I assume Bear will be riding shotgun?

Y'all got some fun going on. No joy with that mud hole. The schedule doesn't sound so horrible. Cabin fever over here.

    Good Morning Everybody

Gonna see can I figure out the Instapot later this morning. See if I can get a decent beef stew out of it. Back on shift tonight, standby Sunday night, then work Monday thru Wednesday nights.

Hope all are well and safe. Have a good day. :hattip:

We’ve cooked chicken & pork in ours, comes out super tender and shreds really easy. Make certain the meat is thawed though, we tried chicken frozen and it didn’t work out very well. Gonna try ham n bean soup, gotta bone from the Easter ham to make stock.

Stew turned out great. Didn't take a pic, maybe when I have it at work tonight. I'm a believer now and it was easy to use. I'll be doing other recipes I think. Thanks for the tips.
