HOURS CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!
Starting next week, we will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We know this will be an adjustment for our supportive customers and community, but this is a multifactoral decision. We've always done our best to be transparent with our wonderful supporters and really be honest about the sources of our decisions. So, that being said...
Right now we are honestly just too big for our britches.
We never thought being successful would bring so many hurdles to jump, but here we are. We anticipated this summer to be more than we could handle, so over 2 months ago we ordered and paid for a HUGE upgrade to our kitchen. This upgrade will add another fryer, double our flat top space, almost double our refrigeration, and add to our outdoor kitchen for BBQ's on Fridays and Saturdays. Not having this equipment during the summer, is pushing our kitchen past its limits.
Another factor, unfortunately, is that we just can't get enough employees to cover the massive volumes we are having. Even if we did have our kitchen equipment, we don't have enough cooks to run it. We wish this wasn't the world we are living in, but again, here we are. The employees we do have are being stretched to their maximum limits, and we refuse to run them into the ground because they have the work ethic to keep showing up and giving it their all every day.
We are dedicated to leveling up and have MANY projects and improvements in the works. Now that we have our beautiful new fence we will begin installing the outside stage for backyard concerts to pack the yard and deck all summer long. We're adding events like a Farmers Market, and many more community involved events to come!
However all of these things take time to coordinate, and Mom and I just can't get it done while both working 12+ hours 7 days a week. We tried. It's just not sustainable. We have to find a balance for some quality of life.
