Long story so here is the condensed version.
Got up from kneeling with my toes bent and had a pop and crack from the right toe area. Felt okay for about 2 weeks then it swelled up and ached. Called for a Doctor appointment and the earliest I could get was 2 days before we left for our trip. He got me inserts for the shoes a toe brace thingy and a 30 day supply of Meloxican (anti inflamitory). The inserts worked good, the toe thingy didnt and the drug worked until I ran out and couldn't get them in Australia. Went the doctor and he sent me for an MRI and :eek:the ligament is torn, the joint is out of place and I had a fracture but it is healing now. Told him about going away again and he said I have 2 choices...1) live with it 2) surgery. Rehab after surgery is 6 to 8 weeks. I'll see the surgeon when I get home the end of March .
I can still drive but won't be able after surgery for the rehab period . Like that will stop me...the wife surely will .

Have a great day and be safe out there.

Where's your next trip? ... if it's what I expect, you'll survive as long as they keep the umbrella drinks coming at regular interval. ;)

Good Morning Rob + Crew :hattip:

    That does not sound good.
My wife is having problems with shoulder and foot. She finally went to the doctor. He said she has arthritis in her shoulder and a bunion on her foot.

    Good luck with your toe.

    Good Morning Rob :hattip:.

Visiting the Monkey this weekend? Deb and I are heading upcountry for the day next week to take some furniture up. Son was up this past weekend and shut everything down for the winter so we won't be staying.

Have a good day my friend and be safe :fistbump:
