    Morning back at you bro.

So I forgot to post this on Friday. I got home from work and went out to grab a bite at the marina, ran into a bunch of buddies at the bar (shocker), I eat at the bar not a table (another shocker). Anyhow, I was talking to one of the boat captains and he asked if I heard about the plane crash. Well, thats kind of a conversation starter for obvious reasons, we dont get alot of plane crashes, duh.
Well this weekend was supposed to be our air show. Its a pretty big airshow actually. It ended up getting canceled on Saturday because of it. OV-1 Mohawk lawn darted. Pilot killed.
Sunday got canceled because of weather. Here is the weather I woke up to Sunday morning, once that front past us it was on, it was plain nasty out. Windy, overcast and spitting rain ALL god damn day.
Kind of a bummer because the flight path is over the peninsula I live on and I like hearing the jets and the old WWII birds going by. Little nostalgia if you will.

A lot of Old planes go in and out over my house here. It sure is sad when one of them goes down and takes crew members with it. No likes on this ever

Had a chopper go down a little while back killing the Pilot & some Hydro guys. Cause was released the other day. It was a damn unsecured empty canvas bag that somehow got into the tail rotor. Just a real shame. :pout:

    :hattip: Howdy Maner :)

Nice 4 day break, with 3 days at cabin. Got quite a bit done Thursday and Friday, but winds kind of limited us on Saturday to some odd jobs and such. Still need to get corrugated clear panels up on pole barn to finish enclosure, but can't work those long panels on ladder in wind...hopefully this next break.
    :fingerscrossed:

Still wondering when the snow will show up. :notsure:

That’s great, nothing better than to get away from the dam cell phones and such.

Yep, "off grid" is becoming my favorite part of going out there. Cell coverage is very spotty at best. I check for emergency texts or such once a day from the spot on the hill that gets "1 bar" of signal, but otherwise phone stays in airplane mode and just plays my music. :)
