Good morning Rob and all :pccoffee: Glad came to the shack now I know it is Wednesday. Would have figured it out in a bit when I went to take my pills, but at least now I know.

Balmy today up to 29° already took the oldest dog out and 2 does stood less than 10 yards away and refused to move. I take the dogs out on a flexi lead and he was barking and jumping at them, they didn't care. They are getting a bit too brave anymore. I don't even have a 10 yard pin on my bow 20 is the shortest pin, maybe I should start to practice shooting at closer distances.

Me too Jim! When I started shooting clays back when Moby Dick was but a wee little minnow a decent gun could be had for $500 or less. Now most of mine, but not all, are up in the $3K-$4K range. Cost of shells, targets and everything else has gone up as well. I used to eat beanie weenies all week to afford a couple rounds of skeet at one time. Now it is becoming a rich mans game :( I have friends that shoot guns that cost $20K and up, way too rich for my blood. But they are nice to look at and a guy can dream...

Most of my friends are retired and complain about the cost to shoot now. One of the reasons I'm still working yet. But would go back to eating beanie weenies if I had to. Nah I'd go get some fast food in the yard LOL.

Can relate. Used to meet up with this Father/Daughter duo at the place I used to shoot. Beretta shot guns that cost more than my Truck, even had their own launchers complete with a loading guy. Now that’s livin’ :)
