I've answered that question about 10 times in the last 3 pages of the thread lol. I used the factory flare clips. Ground them down on a bench grinder till they were smooth them painted them red.

Buried the truck today pretty good goofing around at work. Had to get the ol cummins to pull me out :)

The local blizzard left snow drifts 4+ ft high. I called it quiets at lunch time to go bomb around in the snow for the rest of the afternoon.

This was completely impassible this morning until a front end loaded made one pass through it. Udder chaos this morning with people stranded, stuck, and late for work

Messin around in the field made for some good 4wd drifts

Now I'm trying to diagnose a rear end clunk...I lifted the truck up with the zoom boom back at the job site, and I can move both rear wheels in and out about 1/16-1/8". Would this be a coincidence that BOTH rear wheel bearings are shot? I do know the rear locker has play in it. That's now it allows the pucks to engage and disengage. Could this be a simple in and out movement of the pucks? I've never really dealt with rear wheel bearings before. Only fronts.

And to boot...I checked the rear bearings the same way you would a front wheel. Side to side and up and down. Both ways don't have any play at all! I'm confused haha

Is it a single rhythmic clunk or like a ratcheting clunk-clunk-clunk nothing, clunk-clunk-clunk? Does it go away at any speeds? Do you feel any jolting or bucking from the rear?

I put mine on a lift and got it up to 80km before i could hear a hum. Got a buddy to walk around and pin point where it was coming from. Turned out to be the wheel bearing

Overall, how do you like your suspension lift? Just 5100s on stock springs and AALs in the rear? Differential drop? Improved ride even with the stock springs? I'm looking to do a lift similar to this, so any insight would be appreciated!

It's more of a clunk going over really rough road at a slower speed. Mostly when the weight if the truck moves side to side. Other than that, you can't hear it. Straight up driving down the road it's 100% fine.

The suspension is great! Rides smooth, drives good on the highway, extremely flexible on the trail. I do have a diff drop as well yes. Gotta keep those cv angles in check

Did you end up replacing it yourself? Was it both or just one. I'm finding it hard to convince myself that both are shot at the exact same time haha. Poop

No i didnt do it myself. My right side went two years ago and my left just went last spring. Im sure its possible for both sides to go at the same time. Especially if your now on 35s and have been on wheel spacers--Now some people will argue that wheel spacers dont increase wear on bearings but i disagree..

A friend of mine did it and said it was easy. Just need a press. Make sure you get a extra ring clip encase it breaks coming off.

The thing about rear bearings is they are really hard to pinpoint. Someone was telling me they took it to toyota and even another shop and no one could figure out where the sound was coming from. They were pulling axles and diffs and still didnt fix it. He finally pulled a spare axle shaft with a new bearing and replaced it and no more noise.

You could always just pull the shafts and spin the bearings to see if they bad
