Yes!! Most definitely. I was actually going to text you sometime this week about EJS 2015 and Hammers. Spoonman and I are for sure doing Hammers and EJS. There may be one more for EJS (Reeeno403) if he gets his gears and lockers done. So we'll have to meet up for some camping and wheeling!!

Either way the 'CON and Dusy are going to be done again next year. Probably in the fall around the same time.

Any news on the sas? I have to say seeing you do all this has convinced me to stay IFS for as long as I can!

No real news on the SAS. When I do it, it'll be a weekend job. I'm going to acquire all the parts that I need. Do some more research. Get everything ready that I need. I'll be re gearing the rear as well when I do it, so I can start with that any time as I have a spare diff.

Not sure if I want to go full hydro or hydro assist. I think ram assist from PSC would be my best choice. Needless to say, I'm pumped as hell to turn some big meats and run some more hardcore trails like Fordyce and the 'Con with no stress of breaking stuff.

Rad! I've been to the Hammers the past few years, might skip next year. I was definitely thinking Moab should happen but I don't really want to go when EVERYONE else is in Moab at the same time (EJS). I'm down to do Dusicon though!

Haha yea, Moab was definitely busy during EJS, but i didn't find it to bad. We just went on the website to see what trails weren't in use that day. Worked out great. I found the rig watching and people watching just as fun as the wheeling. The night wheeling at area BFE when they light it up on Thursday was epic. Drunk carnage everywhere. We just plopped are chairs down and enjoyed the show. We managed to fit in 12 trails in 7 days.

I tried to copy your set up with the 315/75/16 on the stock wheel, but discount tire wouldn't mount them and said it was physically impossible. What did you do to fit yours?

I didn't have any issues mounting. But they are right. I think legally you need a 8" rim to mount a 315/75/16.

Sounds like a bunch of Pansy's at discount if you ask me. Just buy the tires and take them to a local tire shop

To late lol just went with a 35/12.5/15 on steel 15x8 steel wheel. They tried getting me to buy some pos looking 16" wheels for $500 but I said fuck it and got the 12.50

Not bad. I may reconsider going during EJS. Was originally thinking April 15-21 but I understand EJS 2015 is earlier than that this year. Did you do Pritchett? That was the most fun trail I did in 2004.

Yeah Americas tire (same company) probably wouldn't have mounted my 40x13.5R17's on my 17x8 wheels but my buddy works there and I told him to put that I have 9" wide wheels :D Or just buy the tires and mount them yourself? It's not that hard to do...

No we didn't run Pritchett on that trip. I was with a pretty stock jeep. Just mild lift and 33's with no a whole lot of "rock" wheeling under his belt so I didn't want to push the limits. Plus when it comes to fixing stuff he's not very mechanically inclined, so if something broke I would have had to fix his rig :(

I plan on running it in 2015 though. Looks like a fun trail! And it's open most of the week. Not to many companies and people wheel it during EJS. Just to much can go wrong. Especially with a big group.

Tanner, what kind of spare parts do you bring on a trip like this? Any pics of how you load your truck?

I didn't really take any pictures of the truck loaded before I left. I have one that's it

    As for spare parts...
    - 2 spare front axles
    - spare rear drive shaft
    - spare u joints for front and rear shafts
    - spare wheel spacer studs
    - spare carrier bearing
    - spare front ring and pinion (which I totally forgot, but I do carry)
    - spare spider gears for rear diff
    - spare upper and lower ball joints
    - spare inner and outer tie rods
    - 4 quarts gear oil
    - 4 quarts engine oil
    - 4 litres of tranny fluid
    - 1 quart power steering fluid
    - 1 gallon on coolant
    - extra coolant hoses and various hose lengths and sizes with hose clamps
    - spare fuses
    - obviously all the tools needed to take the truck completely apart
    - giant breaker bar
    - liquid wrench
    - spare jack in case a 3rd has to be pulled

Lots of other random shit. If I was to list it all it would take my till lunch time. The big toat up front is all camping. Blue bag has axles, tie rods, u joints, and ball joints along with a length of chain (which came in handy for spoonmans fix), snatch block, shackles ect.....

Driveshaft is under the rotopack on the passenger side. Small cooler for dry food. Jamie had a ARB fridge so we kept meats and cheese and shit in that. Full size spare with jack strapped in
