Mrs. Yoss' 2023 SR5P 4x4 Build

Guess I should start a build thread.



This is the wife's 4Runner, bought new this summer in Texas. The wife, 8 month old, and I flew down to pick it up.

The plan is for it to be a reliable daily driver, family road trip vehicle, and to take us into the national forest for some mild wheeling. We plan on keeping it forever, so anything to improve longevity is on the table.



So far it's gotten:

• Yellow SS3 Pros from @Diode Dynamics
• Stick on blind spot mirrors which I like much better than the RAV4 mirror swap
• Proclip magnetic phone mount
• Cargo area protector from Canvasback
• J&L oil catch can (found out later it may not help that much, but shouldn't hurt either)
• Fire extinguisher mounted with a Bracketeer, which I love
• Mud flap delete from Ark Splashguards
• Seat covers from Wet Okole
• HIR bulb swap as illustrated in this thread
• Hefty Fabworks sliders

I have a relay box I need to install and a set of KC Daylighters that I'm trying to mount outside the grille at headlight level, so those are the current projects. Also on the list is the anytime fog mod. Unfortunately there's no documentation for doing it on a 2020+ 4Runner. I'll definitely attempt it at some point though.

 

Built a little relay box and installed it, next up is wiring running the relay triggers through the firewall and wiring up a switch for the KCs.
