I didn't. Muddy juices don't even splash up in there. I have zero concern. Maybe one day if bored, and have a lift...........I'll do it

Out of curiosity, what’s your estimate on time it would take to install?

Depends if I decide I need to remove the front wheel to access the top bolt or not. I didn't to take it off. Without getting out the jack/stands, maybe 20 minutes. I'm lazy.

This is all assuming I still have all the bolts where I put them, and can find all my tools.

    **Edit

    So. Many. Stickers.
Have skids.... Don't worry about big stuff getting up there.

It's the gravel and sand and.... water ..... That I worry about. Then again, my heat shield is on (also missing too bolt)

My guess is 5 min after locating the shield and bolts. I believe it was the last step? Or was the exhaust bracket the last step if one removed the bracket?

5 minutes for the bottom bolts. 30+ minutes for the top one.

Cat heat is cat heat. From the basic stuff that I know, when they kick off, the temp is the temp.

The cats had to get lost on my Ural. The heat was insane lumping along in town or traffic.

Isn't there a thread that says the heat shield you guys are taking about is the culprit of the "pots and pans" clanking sound down there?

When my clutch pedal is down to the floor, she's silent. When my pedal comes up, the banging begins. It's not super loud, but it annoys me nonetheless

LoL! The opposite! The shield blocks the noise. There's a TSB or something around here that shows a version with Noico on it to quiet it even more.

    Lightning!

It seems everything that I lighten, I add something heavier. Although, I caught some ice in a corner today and the Taco drifted perfectly. LoL!
