    Yes, me three.

Has anyone seen a picture/how to? In my minds eye, doesn't seem too difficult but..............

    There is somewhere.

I did the slip joints on my last bike too many times to even count. My plan is to mark both shafts so that everything clocks in nicely.

Someone confirmed that the moly that I already have is GtG. Honda assembly lube.

In the threads that I have seen about it, it was specifically said to not pack it. Just a good coat is all that is needed to lube it and help with the clunk.

If I remember correctly the slip joint is keyed. The only thing I marked was the flanges at the diff so I put it back in the same spot. I did have to pull the whole drive shaft carrier bearing and all, but it wasn't that hard. I used a couple of jack stands to help manage the weight... Good point about not packing it full of grease. Just needs a coat. I read where it was recommended to use a really high moly content lube to resist getting squeezed or pushed out of the splines. I used the loctite anti seize that was suggested and it seems to be great. Stuff was expensive, but you don't need very much. Could probably do the job five or six times with the amount you get... Before I did it it, I could lay under the truck and rotate half of the drive shaft almost 20 degrees by hand with a nice sloppy clunk. Now it pretty much feels like one piece. I think it's also worth getting the pliers and the bands to make the boot clamp work easier. I didn't really want to use zip ties.

Yeah. The Honda stuff wasn't cheap. But, a dab will do ya and it works great.

The mod was based on what I found for the 2nd Gens. Although the 2nd Gens had two or three different configurations. Dremeling would work, but on some there is enough line slack to bend the lines and connect with a coupler.

Just did this last night, went with the dremel mod. Initial impressions are good.
Quick question, when doing the bleed process, does the clutch pedal come up on its own when all the air is out or do I have to pull it up by hand no matter what as long as no air bubbles are present anymore??

    Excellent.

Yes. Once you close the nipple, you have to pull the pedal up off the floor. It will take a couple pumps of the pedal for the full pressure to return.

The clutch engagement point should be at the same spot when you are done.

To tell you the truth, I don’t even remember the engagement spot. My wife helped me late last night with the bleeding process. I’m going to bleed it again with my brother on the weekend. Overall it feels fine. Just a little softer. Thanks.
