Finally got around to installing @Firn 's disk. I was always skeptical that the delete wouldn't be as big of a difference as people made it seem, but it really is night and day. Totally understand everyone else saying they thought they just forgot how to drive manual; thankfully it is isn't us its just the accumulator.

Great product from @Firn . Trying to get the accumulator was a fun battle trying to get sockets and wrenches where they don't fit or bend, but once it's off the disk takes all of like 10 seconds to install.

Only if you have a sport. The off-road and pro have a dedicated res for the clutch.

Yeah yeah yeah. Same fluid. I think

Flare nut wrenches are key for those lines

Yep glad I have a set for the lines. I was just annoyed trying to get to the bolts that hold the dirks up as well as the accumulator itself.

For sure. I definitely took four bolts off and only put three back up there.

    Lol, same.

I did have to go back and put that 4th back up though since mine was buzzing a little bit.

Did any of u guys actually get air in the system when doing this and if u did how much of a pain is it to get out? What’s the best way to bleed it? I plan on doing this mod but I’ll be doing it by myself and I don’t want to screw up the bleeding process leaving me stranded.

    Yes.

Clamp the hose to the tank so that you don't lose a bunch of fluid.

Otherwise it bleeds pretty normally. My clutch pedal shot to the floor and had to be pulled back up, but that was no big deal.

Same. Then when the clutch tab happened two years ago, the tech that did mine noted that my pedal felt better than some of the others he did.

:fistbump: of course, it mine makes noise.... I can't hear it over all of the other noises it makes :anonymous:

from the looks of the line it doesn’t seem that you need anything else just remove the accumulator and plug in the line in it’s place it comes with banjo and washers

Pardon me sir but you cannot speed shift faster than a modern automatic.

For me it was about consistency in release of the clutch pedal. I could row the gears fast, that wasn't a problem. What it improved was that I could know exactly how and where each release of the pedal was going to go.
Prior to that it was like my timing was off on some shifts. I wasn't consistently consistent. I could still mash the gears, but if I was in a bit of a rush I would miss the clutch engagement zone by just a HINT and as a result wasn't as smooth as I should be.

This was 10,000 miles in. It wasn't new to me.

Now, with an adm the clutch works the same, every time.

A guitar from Walmart plays the same notes as a Taylor or a Gibson but that does not make them the same. An AR and an AK both accomplish the same goal, that doesn't make them the same.
It's the same as a tune. It doesn't have to make it faster, it doesn't have to make more power, yet it can still make it drive better.

It should just fall out once you have the accumulator unbolted from the backing plate.

This is not a required mod. If you don't have an issue, then you don't have anything to worry about.
