    :rofl::rofl:

Lots of info there. I think Trident had sketches for how to bend it around a tumbler and such.

Just need some 14mm and 12mm sockets and wrenches and a good 10mm line wrench.

    Okay. Here’s how today went.

    upload_2025-8-26_11-40-30.jpg

Plan A: hard line. Plan B: elbow

I forgot how little work space there is.

    upload_2025-8-26_11-41-25.jpg

Here’s the line installed. Only needed a little more convincing:

    upload_2025-8-26_11-42-4.jpg

I used this sweet one way valve bleeder I bought off TikTok. Worked surprisingly well:

    upload_2025-8-26_11-42-44.jpg

heat shield/inspection cover unintentionally fit perfectly around the line I bent:

    upload_2025-8-26_11-43-33.jpg
    upload_2025-8-26_11-43-44.jpg

After laying underneath the truck, drank a beer. Sprayed it all down with brakekleen, I don’t see any leaks. Worked the clutch pedal a bunch, it feels good. No leaks so far.

just gotta test drive it now.

EDIT: test drive went well. It definitely an improvement over the dremel mod. I feel like the dremel mod worked like 50% of it was deleted. The hard line is a better improvement. There was a minor leak at the slave cylinder threads and I was able to get another half turn on the line nut. Another test drive, same distance, stopped in the driveway and pumped the clutch about 20 times and so far so good. No more leak.

Nice. Would have been a lot easier to use the easy-bend (NiCopp) line. I'm a huge fan of it.

You can basically bend it around your pinky finger and it has the added benefit of being rust free due to the alloys used. That won't stop the fittings from rusting if you use steel. I just did brake lines on the rear of my wife's Impreza in a tight location and the NiCopp line was a life saver being able to easily bend by hand. It's worth it to have a roll on hand.

I haven't done the flex line. I think i still have air in the line, so I'll reserve judgemental until I can get under there again. I bought a one way bleeder and apparently it's child proof. My vacuum bleeder (hand pump) isn't very helpful either.

    Nice work!

Open the reservoir and gravity bleed. pump the clutch a couple times. You'll be all right

Won't pumping the clutch introduce air?

It should push fluid out, assuming there's plenty in there.

It's how I did mine, then close the nipple and pumped a few more times etc.

Once you have good clutch feel, it'll work out any remaining air bubbles as you drive.

    Granted

The tube into a bottle of fluid is still the better way

After you bleed it, it will still feel messed up. Then you get a good 75-100 pumps in, maybe slosh it around a little even and it firms back up. Then it really feels better.
