I had my wife pump and hold the clutch while I release the bleeder valve. Took 3 tries and less than a few mins to bleed the system.

So apparently I’m the problem child. I’ve got a leak at my joint with the upper hardline to my line. Leaking on the bottom side… suggestions?

With my minimal experience using flared fittings, if you can't get the nut completely seated by hand it isn't going to seal well. The tubing has to be well aligned and the nut should basically just go in until it seats the flare in the fitting. Then you just tighten it down with a wrench.

Gotcha. I’m going to pull it all back out and adjust the line a bit and see if I can get it to seal. The other two spots are good and not leaking.

Did you do the upper connection last?
When I connected mine, I did the upper connection first, then the lower. I found that I had to "fiddle" with the connection to the slave cylinder quite a bit to get it to start. As mentioned by @lapoltba , I made all the connections by hand and made sure the fittings were fully seated first before I went to the wrenches

Yep I did lower first, upper last.

I’ll try it in reverse and see if I have better luck.

I had a leak at the same spot first time. I thought I tighten but it wasn’t enough. Gotta torque it down good.

    Sorry, @Shellshock !

Hand threading the fittings is very important, esp as the alignment isn't a factory part.

Good wrist tight will get you there. Not a full arm pull though.
