    :bananadead: Is a pretty good summary.

    Got it installed again and thought everything was good - no leaks, then the clutch was pissed off. Acted like there was air in the line but I bled and bled and bled some more and it was straight fluid coming out but the clutch wouldn’t spring back.

    Eventually decided to put the accumulator in and see what happens. It’s still not happy but it’s at least coming off the floor now but sticky. Clutch still isn’t right but it’s at least semi fuctional now to the point I could move it out of the middle of the garage.

    Pretty sure I uncovered a problem I didn’t know my truck had in the process but not really sure what it’s problem is.

    This is pretty straight forward and given how many people have done this with zero issues in an hour or two I never expected to have any issues. I’ve done so many other things with my truck and while frustrating at times I’ve never been unable to accomplish the task until now.

    Working on them
    I drove my First Gen Truck for the Last Two weeks and that has a Manual 5 speed and Today I drove my Third Gen and Realized how much the Accumulator really sucks so time for me to park the 3rd Gen and do the delete.

    Yeah I got no idea at this point. I’ve checked and rechecked and checked again.

    Bleeder closed
    Zero air coming out
    Res is full
    Pedal was greased couple weeks ago

    Honestly my best guess at this point is it has just shy of 80,000 on it and I got lucky enough to uncover some other issue that was about to show up.

    Or my truck must have gotten jealous of @MOC221_ always being the problem child lol @mZiggy better watch out, the honey badger is next

    Check the reservoir in the morning. If it is low, there's a leak somewhere. The OR has a separate reservoir for the clutch.

    Yeah. certainly sounds like you uncovered something. I'm curious to hear the findings.
    maybe loose mounting bolt(s) on the slave cylinder, that's easy to check.
    After that, the possibilities get a little scary: throw out bearing, something up with the throw out arm, bent fingers on the pressure plate...

    Sounds like my luck lol we’ll see if there’s leaks in morning and go from there. I’ll probably limp it down the road to the local guy Monday and let him figure it out.

    This is a pretty simple mod and honestly I’m still in disbelief I’ve had issues.

    I think everyone else who did this today probably spent less combined time than I have :bananadead:
