More supplies arriving 1/9. I will have enough stuff to make 25 kits and then I'm done. I've got SAS stuff to do for my truck.

    Get em while they're hot.

10-4 will do. Trying to decide on length and possibly getting brackets to bolt on.

Can someone tell me the spacing of the upper two mounting bolts? Thinking of an l bracket with clip there and one on the lower mount point..

Sorry. Mine is covered. If it wasn't the biggest PITA part of the install, I'd get that for you.

    Haha!

The exhaust support is easier to pull and gives you much more room to work. Checking your ZIP, soak the bolt on the exhaust flange with PB Blaster or some other penetrating oil a couple days before you get in there.

Luckily my truck has only seen about 3/4 of a winter since I picked up a winter beater/daily. The truck is too nice and.expensive to put 25k miles a year on. I'll definitely hit it with something just in case though.

    Word.

I live in the worst rust belt ever and that bolt on the flange came out without trouble. First thing I did once I had the vehicle in the air was to blast it and the fittings/bleed valve with penetrating oil.

I don't miss the east coast salt. Not in the least. Bad wrenching memories when I was a kid.

You could also re-use the plate which forms the back of the accumulator itself.. 4 convenient holes in that. Someone on here must have a plate or accumulator body to get you the numbers..

I was thinking that but wasn't sure how thick it was. I don't have a way to bend it easily at home.

    Would work for dimensions though.

Lol, there was corrosion in the accumulator body where the disc sits on the seal. To get the disc to come out, I plugged the outlet with a fitting and a pinched off piece of brake line. Then I put the accumulator in a vise, put on my PPE and applied air pressure to the inlet. A quick shot with 90 psi on tap had that thing outa there n a jiffy! Yep, check the area for people first

This trick has never failed me. It’s the only way I will bleed motorcycle brakes/clutch.
For stubborn air in the system it’s easier to push the fluid up from the bleeder to the reservoir (empty the reservoir first). I use a oil squirt can (the kind with a trigger) and a piece of clear tubing. Think of how a doctor uses a syringe, get the air out of the tube and then attach it to the bleeder. Only open it up enough to push the fluid in.

For work or personal use? My miles are nearly 100% work, and I like to use my money to buy nice things for myself and not to use for more work related activities.

Browsed through all the pictures, thank you. It looks like that is in approximately the original location?
