It’s easier to just install the pre-bent line. You’re gonna have to take the accumulator off to do the dremel method anyway.

It appears like I have one of these trucks. Mine is an early 2016 TRD sport up in Canada. The silver insulated line is not flexible whatsoever, if I connect the coupler to the that line the pre bent delete kit line sticks about 3" below the slave.

Simple fix, straighten the U bend by hand and rebend around a 20mm socket to fit.

Does that extra bend I will have in the line make it more likely for me to get air trapped in the line while trying to bleed it?

Dremel mod is super easy, takes less than an hour, you just need some brake fluid.

No, not at all. When you bleed it, you’ll force the air out.

easier! i am not so sure. i did mine today -10c on front ramps.thought i will take a short cut and port the accumulator.well ! you have to do the porting, disturb the seal?,reassemble 4 bolts to bracket than another 3 bolts for bracket to trany.with fingers half frozen i took a look at the @Trident904 line.with the absence of the accumulator there was more working room to connect 2 fasteners, bleed and done.i dont even think you need to fasten the line to the trany as this is a firm line and shouldn't move.
i can see how porting will keep truck more original but it will definitely take more time.

I didn't necessarily mean easier,I guess it would be better based off of skill level and working environment. I turn wrenches for a living and did it at work on my lift so I was in,out and done quicker than you obviously.

That's perseverance right there. Been there done that out of necessity once, had to replace all the freeze plugs in my 67 Chevelle w/small block and headers one winter in my driveway @ -20F. I could work about 15-20 minutes before I had to go in and thaw out my hands.

Well, I don't wanna impede on cold AF fingers so I'll wait til spring to climb under. I'll be interested to hear your review when you first fire it up at -15 tomorrow...if the clutch pedal is as much slow to return as before the delete

I went to do mine last weekend and realized I'm going to have to drop my tranny skid and decided to wait till the weather got better. I'm not a fan of working in gravel in the rain.

I know exactly what you are talking about,I think I may have done some permanent damage to my hands that day. My hands start tingling anytime it gets anywhere near zero and start to hurt if I am exposed for more than a few minutes.
