Ground floor purchases always do. These things were more work than I expected.

Holy shit! I can’t believe I waited so long to do this. My driving experience is totally renewed. First drive into town and I didn’t here that damn clunk once. Every shift was so smooth. Now I know exactly where the engagement is. Thank you to everyone on this thread who got this figured out. @Trident904, you rock. The box has been sitting in my truck for months. I finally decided to get it done and was super simple.

Well I got bored today and gave into the peer pressure of everyone telling me to get this done lol

Anyone who was hesitating to do this should move it to the top of the priority list. It’s worth every bit of effort (even including my failed first attempt).

Took about 2 hours start to finish and I wasn’t working very hard.

hey quick question, what did you use to pinch the line under the hood so it doesn't let air in or fluid out?

Yep, I never go in there without some coupons and a 20% off from that site. I usually just open the page on my phone and read off the code to the cashier. They could care less if you have a paper coupon or not.

Yeah. My store is happy to scan the phone.

I have been hoping for the unrestricted 20% off everything coupon so that I can snag one of these: I can hold out until Thanksgiving is necessary.

It certainly doesn't need all four. I thought about tossing some tape on the back side of that tab so it doesn't rattle and just leaving it out.
