Nope , pumped the clutch few times, opened bleeder and repeated couple times.

After a day of driving, i noticed the stupid clunks are gone and truck does not shudder when starting up the hills.

    This acummulator is useless.

Finished mine today. It was a little challenging getting the double inverted flare right but after a few practice trys it came together. I salvaged the Toyota sleeved M10x1.0 fitting for the slave cylinder side to prevent leaks as stated in the first post. I went with 11-1/4" for my line length.

I had never done any brake or clutch line work but I read somewhere to fill the line with sand and make your bends to keep it from deforming or kinking. It worked great. I blew it out with air after to make sure I didn't add any sand into my system!

I modified a bracket from my GT-Four's old cruise control actuator. It was exactly the right spacing for the existing bolt holes on the transmission. Didn't have much play to begin with but it will add some extra support offroad.

My bleeder fitting cap went flying when I took it off and I never found it. Shouldn't bother me but it does.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the research and instruction on how to fix our clutch feel issue.

That sounds like air, but then, air in the line should be a consistent loss of pressure. Maybe open the reservoir and slave fittings and let it gravity bleed to force any air bubble through. Then, do a standard bleed with a helper as insurance?

Don't let the reservoir go dry.

thats definitely air. bleed it again... and dont be afraid to bleed more than you think would be necessary. I had a constant flow then after 2 more bleed cycles had air coming out again.

Bleed bleed bleed. I bled mine again last night and after several clean cycles through started popping air bubbles. Drives much better, though my pedal still isn't engaging quite as high as I'd like, with a little slop. Might still have more air....

So I’m about to start this, is there supposed to be a floater in here? I just had the squeaky clutch pedal TSB done, wouldn’t surprise me if there was some fuckery afoot...

I believe a couple other folks with ORs said that was in there. I have no idea what it does.

It tastes pretty decent. Do I have to drop the skids for this nonsense?

This magic pill is suppose to float on top of the fluid. The reported purpose is that there is less surface area exposed to the atmosphere, therefore less exposed and susceptible to moisture absorption.
I am not sure of the legitimacy of this story, or of its effectiveness, (if true). Just reporting what I have heard in the past.

I suppose that will clean you out in just a bit?

I didn't have to touch the stock skids on my Sport. I think the OR skid goes back a bit further? I only removed the left cat support and the heat shield.

Interesting, but! The reservoir is going to continually pull in air as the clutch wears and as atmospheric pressure and temperature changes. I suppose that it can't hurt.

I think double stacking tinfoil would be stronger than these...

I agree completely, and I got the runaround when I asked why there wasn't one in the brake fluid reservoir.

I don't do hard stuff yet, so breakover is a bigger concern so far. Approach and picking lines hasn't been too bad.

I don't think you needed to pull the skids. Look just inboard of the left secondary cat.

Probably the best location pic from the 1st Post:

    4-F42-E5-BE-04-DE-473-C-ABCD-FA1572-A9-A61-D.jpg

You can see the cat flange, driveshaft, clutch inspection cover, and where the accumulator was. The slave cylinder is hidden by the shaft.
