Most have my issue has been having the right tools or missing something stupid. I’ve pretty much taken care of that problem these days

shortened the skirt up front thingy
I seen this on the manual fb page. Direct bolt on with minor trimming to heat shield to make fit. Anyone tried this route with any luck?

a couple people have tried it with mixed experiences. I think the general consensus is to use a hard line for best results.

Has anyone had the 6MT Clutch Pedal Squeak/Creak Noise TSB T-SB-0112-19 done after removing the accumulator? Did your dealer deny the warranty work?

I haven’t yet removed the accumulator but I did have the TSB for the squeak completed. I wouldn’t bother as the damn squeak came right back. I found lubing the pivots with never seize eliminated that aggravating noise. You have to really jam an acid brush loaded with the lube up there.

That TSB goes no where near the accumulator. With the shield in place, the ADM is very hard to see. If you do the dremel mod, it is invisible.

I have an appointment on Monday for a few other issues so I'll just see what they say. I'm currently sitting at 35k miles so I'm just trying to get everything at least documented. I'm not holding my breath though. if it comes back i'll lube it myself.

Do they not bleed the clutch afterwords?

They would most certainly have to because of the air that would be in the new master cylinder. Still, the accumulator is hidden under the heat shield.

I removed the accumulator. Replaced it with a 12" section of hard line.(similar to tridents kit) It's visible where it goes into the slave.

So was the short section of hard line that went from the accumulator to the slave.

I'm not sure what to tell you, but my opinion is that no one is going to notice.

Same. Pretty sure most wouldn’t even know what it’s supposed to look like there. The number of manuals they see is pretty low compared to autos.

Modified the level of gas in the tank
Id be shocked if the tech could drive a stick let alone recognize what would be, metaphorically speaking, the pancreas of the clutch system.

That's what I'm hoping, We'll see what they say Monday. If they do notice, it will probably be at the very end after they have swapped out all the parts. I doubt at that point they will pull them all back off and deny warranty.

My tech noticed right away. But he's a true gearhead. Gave me a thumbsup for it when the service writer wasn't listening.

I purchased an accumulator delete kit (hard line) and never ended up installing it. If anyone wants it ill sell it for the $75 i originally paid.
