That is the trouble. Looking around, I found three different accumulator setups on the 2nd Gens and do not exactly know how it breaks down. A champ like Mr @Jeff Lange might know?

This was the video that really kicked it off for me since we didn't even know the location to start:

Pretty much the easiest of all to mod.

Sweet! Thanks, I’m not trying to thread jack and know how to use the search function on the forum.:crapstorm: There’s about a page of hits on the ADM for second gens and most link to here.

    Hahaha! No worries!

If you want, get under there and see what the situation looks like? It lives near the slave on left side the transmission.

Pfft, 80 pages...this thread has been jacked for far more scrupulous reasons many times over.

At least it was stainless, I will give you that.

Going the dremel route doesn't look so bad I guess. Stealthy too. If I mess it up or don't like it (not likely) I'm kinda burnt though.

The fab shop I work at welds aluminum pretty much exclusively. Not sure how any welding would help here though.

If you mess it up, you can just go the hard line route. Also, there are plenty of accumulators lying around on folks' shelves.

Just draw away from the port near the seal lip. You don't need to deepen the far side of that hole, just create a deep channel between the closest points.

Well, there's one more Taco out there without an accumulator. Purchased the kit some time ago, but finally got to install it Sunday. Gravity bleed seemed to do the trick, but did also bleed it by pumping the pedal. Clutch feels more consistent on the engagement.

A big thanks to all the folks that shared their install pics & tips. I think I spent more time on re-installing the exhaust hanger & heat shield.

Nice. Haven't heard one in person but from the videos they are by far the best sounding mufflers on a Tacoma.

Got the Borla on mine. It nice. If you were near, I’d let you listen to it.

Just a heads up, Stromung came out with a catback for our trucks too. If I didn’t have the Borla already, I’d probably go for that one. They make great exhaust systems!

Heck, if anyone near me wants my Borla, then I’d have an excuse to get the Stomung! Lol!

From what ive read on here, trd exhaust is rebranded borla.

I wanted the trd at first but its 1600 here with the black tip i want, absolutely ridiculous. This borla was half the price of that, still very expensive though, but i know i will be very happy.

    Yeah. No drone at all.

The hardest part of the install was removing the factory exhaust. Getting it out and over the axle without working on a lift was the balls.
