I have a 19 MT and I was considering the ADM but at 12K miles the clutch seems a lot smoother so I’m probably not gonna do it.

I did mine at 40k. I should have done it as soon as I got home from the dealer.

I had less than 50 miles when I did mine. I knew after the test drive it was the first thing I was doing. Definitely an improvement.

Couldn't agree more. I did mine a few months back at 1700 miles. Three thousand miles later and I still love it. I cannot imagine living with the way it came stock. Abomination sums it up nicely.

Well just finished this mod using the prebent part from that fella on here.

Initial impressions, much less resistance in the clutch pedal. less jumpy when upshifting and smoother when downshifting. Not nearly as much "bucking" when shifting.

Pain in the ass install (not because of the part I purchased)

    Performance 5/7
    Install 3/10

Pedal force and engage point should not change.

    Enjoy it though!

Woah woah woah, pedal force shouldn't change? It was the most dramatic change! Did I mess something up? I followed the bleeding instructions, did it 4 or 5 times until no air came out.

i had no air come out... then bled some more and got more air out.

The 3rd Gen is pretty light to start with.

If the engage point is the same, then there should not be air in there. If it changed also, there might be some?

@TeecoTaco had a bit of air and he said that it worked its way up to the reservoir. Maybe give it some miles?

Hmm, I wouldn't say the engagement point changed, seems the same. Ill give it a while and try to bleed again. Ive only had the truck 2 weeks. Out of the 5 or 6 manuals I've had, it definitely had the stiffest clutch stock though. Much more force needed than my previous vehicles.

Minor bit of air bubbles shouldn't cause a "dramatic" change...lots of air yes. Give it some miles

    Interesting.

The 2nd Gens that I test drove felt what I would call normal and had a slightly shorter stroke. The 3rd Gens that I drove felt similar to each other, but lighter than than the cars that I had.

I would not worry one way or the other unless something crops up, which it shouldn't.

Yeah, I'll put a few miles on it and bleed again.

I just assumed the stiff pedal was normal for tacomas. Its not acting weird and is shifting noticeably better. I'll keep an eye on it and bleed again in a week or so.

No. Smooth and a bit light? Maybe your accumulator sucked way more than most?
