It's worth the free oil changes. Just double-check your aftermarket stuff. or as I found out recently, if you want your tires rotated properly, you have to specify that you want them rotated properly.

It’s not worth the free oil changes when they jack up your skid plate and over torque your oil canister and drain plug...

Or I just do it myself..

There’s plenty of posts with people having the same things happen to their truck.

I remember doing my own oil changes when I lived in SF. In the city. Then driving to a shop, finding parking (F150 supercab) and walking a few blocks carrying the used oil for dropoff. It was ridiculous on so many levels.

If dropping off used oil were a bit easier or if I had anything I could possible recycle it for I'd do it myself again.

I think maybe I'm getting old enough to move somewhere remote in the next decade or two. I feel the crotchety old man growing stronger every day and it's been way too long since I owned a chain saw.

A cheap 5gal pail from Lowes or HD with a lid. Enough room for four oil changes and easy transpo and disposal.

I support this. I can drop used oil in a tank at the transfer station for free here. It either gets used to heat the DPW shops, or goes out for recycling.

I drop them off at local auto parts store where I purchase my oil.

Mine never see it. Hidden in the crawlspace until ready for the recycler.

Now, the thought of possibly oil up wrasslin' . . .

Same here. I take mine over to a buddies place and a guy uses it for heat during the winter.

I routinely have stuff "taken" and I find it weeks later. One maxi fuse has been gone for two weeks now. A wax paper cone for painting my shift boot collar was seen as a "hat" and wound up in a ziplock in a drawer (I made a new one). My 5 y/o routinely uses a stool to take the truck key, hops the fence and goes to play inside the truck bed, easily defeating the tailgate lock. Our street is pretty busy and with MT there isn't an obvious way to stop him from getting into the driver's seat, shifting to neutral, and dropping the e brake. We actually had a younger driver crash into a neighbor's parked car yesterday.

I'm not sure it's possible to hide anything from these hellions. Maybe I could try to dig a tunnel while they sleep though, and cover it with a 200 lb iron plate? How long till they learn about leverage and find my breaker bar?

I mean, distance kindergarden wouldn't be all that different in Sequim or Pullman...

    <sigh>

LoL! You got your hands full! I can barely get one of them in the garage to help with a brake / clutch bleed, even with offers of all the beer they can drink and good classic rock.

I think you have the makin's of an insta-famous YT channel?

Sequim is goodness. Pullman is okay also, if they're plans are for a pro drinking career. Of course, my place was definitely a master class in making the good stuff disappear.

    Enjoy!

Prior to, I have one of those drain pans with spouts. It would only hold one change and was leaky. I was happy to get rid of it.
