MT fill and frain plugs

    I am having trouble finding the fill and drain plugs for an 07 tacoma v6 manuel transmission 6 speed, could anyone help me out? Or direct me to a write up.

    Color matched door handles, Weathertech floor liners, bed mat, Durafit seat covers, tailgate clamp, 2016 TRD Sport 17" wheels with Toyo A30 tires, Toyota exhaust tip, Toyota/Yakima bike rail mount, Toyota wheel locks, Toyota hitch cover.
    I looked at a picture of the Aisin 6spd in the new Camaro which is supposed to be the same trans that the V6 Tacoma uses. The drain plug is at the back of the trans on the bottom. The fill plug is toward the front of the trans on the driver's side. Hope this helps.

    when i looked at it that is what I figured just wanted to make sure, does it use the same 24mm socket as the rear diff and transfer case use?

    That I don't know. My truck is a 4cyl 5 speed and I haven't serviced the trans yet. Sorry I haven't been much help, but there are guys on this site that will know the answers and I'm sure they will chime in soon.

    Yes, and as with the transfer case do not over-tighten the bolts. If I remember correctly I used a wrench for the fill plug, based on the space that is available.
