So me and a "fellow Tacoma enthusiast" decided to go up to mt lemon today for some snow wheeling. the drive up was a lot of fun with a lot of switch-backs and good views. once up there we found a gate that was closed but not locked, so we decided to head up that trail and explore.....actually i had already been on that road, but during the summer when there wasn't any snow:rolleyes:

the roads were fun. Not very challenging, but the snow and ice made it pretty tricky. at one point i was going down a small incline and my truck started to slide down sideways. but i couldn't stop so i had to ride it out, i gave it more gas to help swing the end back around and stay straight, but it was a lot more fun than it was scary. we both got out damage free. just some tire spinning in a few spots.....and sometimes it was on purpose:p

but anyhow, here are the pics

we didn't see that many people up there because it was a wednesday. but i'm sure on the weekends it gets kinda crowded.

but to find snow in just an hour away from town, mt lemon is a sick place to go. hopefully some of the roads will stay open:(
