    I didn't read anything beside what you posted. I had the same issue on my tires with the weird wear pattern. I found rotating them every 3k miles helped. Also I had bad ball joints :eek: lol

    My front 285/75 MTRs look exactly like yours.

    I had the old MTR's on my last tacoma, it was SAS with 37's and they did the same thing

    Mine are perfect after 20000km. They had some cupping at about 8000 due to the toe being way off(0.50"). Rotated them to te back Nd fixed all my front end parts and they wore down smooth again

    Can't believe I missed the last few posts. :anonymous:

    But yeah, after more digging around and talking to a local shop they said I simply wasn't rotating them often enough. Part of it being larger diameter and larger tread blocks. I assume the added weight is decreasing the effectiveness of the OME suspension. They also said the ball joint was fine and the play in the UCA was negligible and normal.
