    Ok so I have to say this, WTF is August not a good time to meet? Four people! Talk about flakes! I really like meets and when I am there everyone seems to have a good time??? But when it comes to having another everone talks tuff and then closer to the meet people start baking out. I know I had a tuff weekend but I have to admitt I am starting to rethink my attendance. Just my two cents....

    Hey hey hey...no im not :p lol but...i wouldn't be opposed to the idea..

    August is the time of school starting. My sound gig is for kickoff weekend for school. And just cause i am doesn't mean you get to rethink..lol no but really. Im planning on doing sound stuff for my job so i can't really pass up an opprotunity to get to work with a semi professional band. Id rather go camping. I have had some serious lackage in that department of my life this year. So hopefully i can come and at least meet you all!

    I just checked with the Forest Service and there are no current fire restrictions in the Bernice area where we will be camping. However, there is a small wildfire burning in the area and crews are working on it right now. With any luck it will not be an issue for us this coming weekend.

    Ben & Mike - there are Stage I fire restrictions in place in Missoula county. I'm not sure where you guys plan on stopping your first night but keep in mind that you may not be able to have a campfire. I believe that fires are only allowed in campgrounds unless posted otherwise. use of camp stoves and BBQ's is still permitted. And if you do have a fire in a camp you better have shovel, axe, and a bucket. Yes, FS people have stopped me and checked on that in the past.

    We'll be in the Clearwater NF. Its west of the divide, not all that near Missoula.

    I spoke with the folks in the Powell Ranger dist office last week, there were no campfire restrictions then. Looks like your fire restrictions website supports that. I'll check-in with them again on Wednesday to be certain.
