MTB Camp & Ride - Knoxville Urban Wilderness and Windrock

I think Baker is a lot more pedally riding, or at least has that. I’m not a full face DH yet.

I think I'm going to be out on this one. Have a huge push for work stuff and testing that will be going on all spring/summer and I just used my vacation chance snowboarding out west. I might be up for some riding this fall, though.

I can never commit to these, it would literally be a week or two before. Put me down for maybe. When do we need to let you know by?

Need a dog sitter, GF needs to be working that weekend, etc. Good excuse for me to get a new tent though.

 

You can let me know whenever. Once we get to the trip I’ll do the math on how many are coming and divide the campsite up by that.

also a maybe here. @backcountryj Windrock XC is a good balance between pedaling and DH. I highly recommend the Bike park , at least for a half day or so.

@honda50r have you ridden horseface ?

 

my legs have never hurt so much on a MTB than from Windrock. Reason why is when pedaling you hit a wall and usually take a break. Bike Park you hit a wall, but it's so easy to keep going you just keep going. lol

I just want to try out Windrock xc. Dont have to do the whole thing, just want to give it a go.

 

Ooh yeah I might be down for this. Right now I’m pending working a weekend trip but if that doesn’t happen I’m down.

 

I love me some Knoxville riding, good beer, and good laughs. Unfortunately, I'm just a maybe, though.

Supposed to be off at an Army leadership course at that time, but still stuck on a waitlist. I will hopefully know one way or another before mid march.
