FYI there is another company that makes something very similar that I ended up getting because I got tired of waiting on updates on the spacers here.

I bought this one and bought my own spacers for the rear t-track in the Tacoma bed. Otherwise my tire would hit the side of my cap/shell without giving some clearance with the spacers:

rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. as @R4D4G4ST said i had no updates in my email to this thread so i haven't been back.

I have a bunch of spacers turned in a couple of different heights. we can do custom spacers or other mounting brackets as needed. i have a few WD in stock, packed and ready to ship on the shelf with more that just need assembly.

@mrtonyd what shell do you have? I can drop some spacers in the box with your order if you're willing to do some test fitting. that way we have a known working solution for your shell when others need it.

 

Just wanted to make sure this was still a thing before placing an order on the website. I've seen a few products on here that were short lived.

I have an alucab contour but think I would mount it to the tacoma factory rail. or possibly on the rail thats on the roof of the shell.

 

if you can get it on the roof i'm guessing it will not require a spacer. on the factory rail, if you can grab a tape measure and your wheel, and measure from the rail to the close side of the hub where it won't hit the shell, that's your approximate spacer length. if you can let me know what that measurement is i can include spacers with the order.
