Well looks like dsm is about to take some of my money. Settled on some king 2.5 extended travel with remote resis and total chaos ucas. For the rear some king 12s relocated with the b.a.m.f kit and Dakar leafs. May order it all Friday just hoping I'm happy with it all said and done
Only thing that worries me is he's saying it's gonna be hard to achieve 3" of lift without a harsh ride realistically only lookin at 2 and a quarter to 2 and a half.

If the truck ends up unlevel oh well I guess

Well if you have armor and winch you should run 700# springs. I have kings w/650 no armor and I had them at 3"+ and it was stiff. I took some preload out ,down to about 2.5" and it rides great. Still have good droop,I may take a little more out and just do a 1/4" spacer on top.

Yea he recommended 700lb springs he said I could achieve 3" but the ride would suffer guess we'll see when I get there

Putting a top spacer with adjustable coilovers is equivalent to dating a supermodel and fucking her with your friend's dick.

    Snicker.

All my rigs have that. Add a top plate spacer and you sacrifice up travel and your shock becomes the bump stop instead of your actual bump stops.
All you have to do is slow down the rebound valving for the first couple rebound shims and use a flutter on comp valving between the second and third shim.
But please go on about how much you know.

    You're welcome by the way.
I did tell you exactly what you need to do in order for you to run more preload without sacrificing ride quality or uptravel.

    Where did I insult you?
And I don't even own the truck in my sig anymore. Pretty much everybody in this thread has rebuildable and revalvable coilovers. Why would you buy a $20 spacer when you can change out the valve shims needed for 5 bucks?
