Why not do a trophy truck style IFS, with the arms mounted farther inboard (closer to center line?

This is the most interesting train of thought to fit bigger tires:

Spacers, not wanted -------> LT, not needed -----------> Center Mount, fuck it!!

    :p

I like where this is going..... sub'd on that build!!

Heimed Uppers + Wheel Offset + Tire Width = No rubbing

Buy the wheels and tires you want, then consider if you want a spacer, LT, or to chop and gut your truck.

Hahaha. Center mount will never happen... it'd be a really fun/cool project, but my fab skills are not even close to making my own arms and stuff.

Trimming sheet metal, moving a cab mount and a crossmember, adding some reinforcements and bolting on a LT kit is more than I've done before, but I think I could tackle it without being way over my head. The Tundra diff still has me a bit puzzled in the front hub area...

Swap to the Tundra wheel bearings and outers. Trying to fit a center diff without raising the engine is the issue.

You forgot the first and last step, IFIFY

Some day I will do that, then I will get plates for it, and drive it to the mall.

It's a hub, aka spindle, but instead of a wheel bearing it's got a 2::1 reduction gear and central inflation system built in.

Says they work with 17"+ rims. I'm out of luck with my 16's. Too bad.
