Hey guys so I need some help with my front suspension upgrade, after hitting my bumps pretty hard several times on my last off road outting made me realize that after all the weight of armor I need heavier coils. Now I currently have 5100 and I'm looking to find like a 700 coil. Is there a coil option available for the 5100, or should I just bite the bullet now and upgrade to 2.5" coilovers.? .

If you can take the 5100s apart, you can install an OME spring, I think you want the 886. Real coil overs are better, but not cheap.

Ya I was looking and the 886 is a 660lb coil and the ones I have currently are 650 I believe so I'm not sure that'll do it. I'm looking at some icon ext travel coil overs with 700lb coils but no remote resis, but I really want them to have resis especially if I'm gonna spend that kinda$$$$ I feel like I should just spend the extra 300.

Feel your shocks after what you would call a "standard" off road run. If they are piping hot and you could fry an egg on them, get the resis. :D

I just ordered my LT kit and will be selling my king 2.5 remote resi coil overs. $1150 with 650lb springs and a spare set of 600lb springs. Valved from DSM and the best thing you can upgrade to without really biting he bullet and going LT.

So I thought I'd share this with you guys. Been running this setup for a while and it rides and drives great. I'm running king ext travel resi coilovers and they came with #600 springs, I had to preload the drivers side about a 1/2" more threads and it still leaned. So not wanting to preload more I decided to buy a #650 coil for the drivers side. So now I have same preload on both sides and it rides and handles a lot better then with the preloaded 600 on the drivers side. Oh yeah, it doesn't lean anymore! I'm not running a swaybar and I have skids, sliders, but no bumper or winch yet.

Yep. I'm gonna want them gone pretty quick after my LT kit gets here. So far no one has dibs, so if anyone puts a deposit down they're theirs and I'll ship as soon as they come off the truck. Should be about 6 weeks

Did you check your core wall bushings ? 9/10 times if Taco lean is that bad it is not your suspension that is sagging that much it is because your left front core wall body bushing is clapped out causing the body to say about 1/4" at the left front corner.

I have replaced the core support bushings with poly, I do think my left front cab bushing is sagged slightly though. There's just more weight on the drivers side so I think having a heavier spring helps that, over the preloaded lighter spring.

Awesome thanks bud I was gonna be wicked pissed if I had to get new uca's along with the king's that would really hurt the wallet.
