Hey fellers so today's MTBS2.0 ?? is about brake lines with shackle flips. So as usual I had to rush to buy parts to make sure I'm ready for the takeover and I may have over looked a ting or 2. the obvious one to me is I only ordered 24" brake lines which I'm almost positive are gonna be to short. :( Any one have any ideas, or if they are to short where to get ones longer than 24" ?? HELP PLEASE hahaha

You can add a 1" spacer to the brake line mount on the axle, and make a bracket to drop the Upper break line mount on the frame down an 1 1/2"

ya I always loved the look of the tacos with a shackle flip, something about seeing those beautiful stainless shackles hanging down. Did yours add any lift I can't tell on mine cause I had the TSB leafs with an aal so now I have an actual leaf pack that might be the lift I'm noticing

Shocks don't add lift. So probably the shackle flip

You could put this on your truck (on the right)-

And still get zero lift. Shocks do not add lift.
Leafs and coils add lift. Shackle flips add lift. Shocks do not add lift.

Yeah shackle flip, longer shackles and allpro standard pack get me about this.

Inverted shackles (stock) shorter shackles add lift. With a shackle flip longer shackles add lift.

Wrong...these shocks will give you lift

It would be absolute shit ride...but they are shocks and with enough air they will lift your truck.....so that makes you wrong.

So instead of confirming that the guys Fox shocks did not, in fact, provide him lift, you scoured the internet for a hard case air bag, just to try to prove me wrong. You really could have just grabbed a pic of ORI shocks, but those are kind of a special case. Nice try though, keep on trolling.
Anyways, let me correct my statement then, pretty much any King or Fox or Icon shock that bolts up to OE mounts will not provide lift.

This is not true in all cases. Anything that exerts force is going to lift some amount. I have fox 2.5" in the back, and the shocks exert about 150-200 lbs each, I could not compress them with my body weight. In this case, I did get an estimated 1/2" lift from shocks.
