I would say average welding skills should be fine. I did everything but the welding. The hoop just bolts to the top of the coil bucket. The other end has a tube that is welded to the frame then the hoop is welded to the tube. The shock tabs on the hoop are only tacked on. They need to be fully welded on after you cycle the suspension and you are happy with the how it cycles. The tabs were right where they needed to be on mine thankfully. You can just bolt up the hoop attach the bypass and cycle it without welding the other end and weld up the shock tabs off the truck to make it easier if need be.

Anyone have any thoughts on Tacoma Lean causing a vibration or shaking in the truck? Aside from looking a little funny I'm not sure where a little lean becomes a problem.

The factory bump brackets get cut in half and a TC bracket gets bolted on...though I welded mine too. If you go to the TC website I think there is a installation PDF ...make sure you select the hoops for the mid travel setup.

    Side to side.

I'm trying for 1.5" tail high so it's about level when I'm loaded up for a trip.

I don't think the "normal" lean would cause any vibrations. How much lean do you have though?

That should not cause any vibrations.

Why would taco lean cause any vibes? I don't see how any lean toward pass or driver's side would cause vibes.

    That's what I thought.

I dunno, but I'm running out of shit to tighten or check. @Braves95 had a horrible vibration from an aftermarket grill... Or at least taking it off fixed the vibe.

Yes removing the aftermarket grill removed the vibe.

    It's true. I tried everything.

Sounds like you're talking about a rattle, not vibration :notsure:

Maybe. It's welded on, so nothing is moving.

On the No side: he vibration was there pre-bumper.
On the yes side: it's worse now. Could be coming from the air flow changes that induced, I can't see how anything else would have changed.

Does the vibration change with RPM or with MPH? And is the steering wheel shaking?

Looking to take my little 4 banger double cab to the MT level.

I have full OME nitros and a Dakar pack.

Looking at kinds and a baf rear shock relocation currently.
