Hell, next time up that way I'll have to let you know. You got any good wheeling and camping up there? I would definitely come over with the truck.

MTNative, will you please give me the website or links of the blue dash lights, gear selector, and the dome lights? Ive been wanting to do this for a while and the job you did on yours made my mind up really quick on the color.

Yoaterboater I ordered them from http://www.superbrightleds.com/vehicle_led_bulb_finder.php

    You will need the following:

    Dash: 4- WLED-xHP5
    Gear selector: 1- 74-xHP3
    Dome light: 1- UPCB-xWHP30-FES
    Map Lights: 2- 3022-xHP4.

Thanks, it's been a fun build so far.

We got a few trails here although the best ones (Tellico) has been closed, but there are a few in nearby Blairsville. One you will have to have a total trail rig which I dont have:( and some that are more just for the enjoyment of going off raod in the mountains. As far as camping we have all sorts. Do you want to really do like the bears do and have to shit in woods. (lol my 21 year old daughter has been there for a month now only comming home to shower before work) those are close to my house and are free to use. But Vogle State park is also in Blairsville and they have both types of campsites. I can also take you on a old forrestry service road that runs along the Occoee river. Its no rock crawling but it will take you 1 hr to go like ten miles with sheer drop offs

Sounds like I might have to plan a trip back that way with the truck next summer. I'll keep you posted. Guess I will have to get the ARB tent before coming up. Damn, one more thing for the truck. :D

That's for sure! There is some really good spots but mostly on private land and it is hard to get in with the owners. I have a lead on some that want them Gone they are tired of the deer eating thier gardens and flowers! We definately need to get together the next time you head this way. how hard was it to change the dash lights?

Same problem here. I have a buddy that has some land up near Fayetteville that lets me take my son up there. Been looking a club around here but they are hard to come by.
The dash wasn't hard at all. The only problem I ran into was that I didn't order the right lights for the A/C heater. There are three lights there and don't know what size they are. All in All it took about 45min.

I'm kinda spoiled by hunting private land tho we have alot of national forrest here but i dont like the idea of walking in on some other hunters. thats why i stopped hunting on a friends property it started out with 3 of us on 50 acres and last year my brother lader stand got stolen and i walked in on a guy sitting in MY stand and he had the nerve to jump my case. I am gonna do the dash led's soon as i can i love the blue and gonna get a set of marathons for christmas.

That sucks but I know what you mean, I've had several stands stolen off of private property and clubs. I'm liking the LED's but miss not being able to turn on the dome light with the ignition off. Have to figure out how to rewire that so it will work.

Got me a topper thanks to Mark aka "NWiTaco". Thanks again Mark and it was good meeting you. I'll get some better pics up this weekend as I'm out of town for the rest of the week. Also going to pick up a Yakima rack to mount my load warrior on.

Dang man, we've got twin trucks almost (except for the color). Same topper and everything. Looking good.

you mentioned getting a Yakima rack to mount your load warrior..... If you can find a pair of Thule load bars you can do what I did with some cheap conduit wall brackets. I got my load bars for free from a friend, drill a couple holes, painted the conduit brackets and bolted them through the load bars and around the bars on the Snugtop.

This is when I first put them on before I painted the bars on the snugtop.

now the bars and brackets are black.

One last thing, you mentioned that the Bushwackers were a PITA to install. You can explain? I'm thinking of getting a set and I'm intersted to know what's involved. TIA

Box Rocket, Thanks and you have good looking truck. Yes they are just about twins. I have the Yakima Q clips and mounts just looking for the 48" bars. I am going to mount the load warrior over the cab. I like the idea of the Thule bars for the snug top. My plan is to put an ARB tent on top of the shell. That should give me enough storage. As for the fender flares I would say go for it. The only issue I had was just the tedious BS of havingto screw 2 rubber sleeves onto each of the bolts before mounting. I like the fact that now I have a couple more inches to the front and rear of the wheel wells. Should be getting new tires next. :D
